1 Perth Town Hall: Built in 1863 on the Cockburn Island site of the old market square, the Town Hall is the focal point for this end of Gore Street with its unique clock-tower landmark. In 1931 a bandstand was erected behind the Town Hall. Today the Town Hall is still used by the town council to conduct the municipal affairs of Perth.
