13 Perth's McMartin House: Home to Perth's first lawyer, Daniel McMartin, the McMartin House was built in 1830. The home was constructed after the Federal Style which is common to the eastern seaboard of the United States, according to the wishes of his American wife. Now owned by the Ontario Heritage Foundation(OHF) the McMartin House is used for various public purposes.
